Not every investigation works

A couple of hours ago I went out with the echovox on my galaxy s 3.

I thought I might be able to get something because in the past I have and also because of the area that I live in is rich in history and also has lots of death...

I have used the echovox in my house before and got results so I thought that it might be a good idea to stay close to home.

I went outside and around the side of my building, it was pretty windy and there was a lot of human noise. I decided to use the phone without a speaker attached. I did however take my portable digital recorder and used that to make notes and also record the session.

Even though I didn't get anything I find that using a separate recorder placed very close to the phone got me a better recording than the phone recording itself.

I think I might need to move the application to the sd card. The record feature on the app doesn't seem to want to work as an echo for my voice so I may have to troubleshoot a little bit.

I am planning on going out again later to a more well known hotspot so hopefully I should be able to get some kind of response there.

It is just interesting to record the fact that you got nothing the seems to be a lot of emphasis on just revealing evidence that you have caught rather than saying that you haven't got anything at all. I've been doing this for about 9 years so it's interesting when I come across a blog or website actually states they didn't find anything because I see a lot of sites just putting up evidence that may or may not be what they say it is. I don't mean to say that what they capture is fake or could be explained in other ways but I would like them to possibly say when I haven't caught anything and I'm debating on whether to put up the recording from today's session, just to show people out there you sometimes don't catch anything.

This has been a very rambling blog post but I thought I'd put it out there any way just to see what your thoughts are on showing evidence of non paranormal activity?

Personally my views on the matter are somewhat  varied, I believe that it is good to see evidence from sessions where there is no paranormal activity. This is because I feel the general public do not have access to failed experiments, or at least snippets of audio where there's no voice in. Unless the general public buy spirit boxes/emf readers or participate in expensive ghost hunting weekends then there are few sources of online information about paranormal investigations with no evidence. After saying all that I think I will probably end up posting some examples of investigations with results that have no paranormal activity on them at all.

I am very interested in hearing what you think so if you could let me know using the comment box below I would be most interested in hearing your views. Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope to speak with you soon.
